Encore Fellowships

Host A Fellow

Encore Fellows® bring 25+ years of experience in business development, operations, marketing, communications, human resources, information technology, crisis management, and more. Encore Fellowships handles the matching process, which includes screening and provides coaching and resources — helping host organizations establish mentorship and collaboration between the Fellows and other staff.

The Benefits For Host Organizations

The challenge and opportunity with the Encore Fellowships program is really this: How can you utilize the skill set of someone that’s coming with more experience than many of your staff and maximize what they bring?

97% of hosts say their Fellow impacted a critical area of operations while 89% of hosts say that the impact of their Encore Fellows® will last far beyond the Fellowship.

How It Works

Encore Fellows receive a $25,000 stipend for 1000 hours of work, typically part-time for one year. Host organizations cover the stipend and a program fee, craft the fellowship position description and manage onboarding and training for the Encore Fellow. An application is the first step in the process of becoming a host organization. There is no commitment until a match is made and accepted by the Fellow and the host. Once you submit your application, you will receive an email with a link to submit a Fellowship position description. You will then be contacted for further information.
