New York, NY – (May 16, 2024) – Civic Hall, a pioneering center for innovation, digital skills training, and civic technology has named Mahesh Nattanmai as Expert in Residence. Mahesh will focus on artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, digital transformation in government, and user-centered design. Mahesh Nattanmai, the Co-Founder of MavQ and President of MTX Group, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.
Prior to joining Civic Hall, Mahesh Nattanmai served in several pivotal roles within the New York State government, including Chief Health Information Officer at the NYS Department of Health, Executive Deputy Chief Information Officer at the NYS Office of Information Technology Services, and Chief Budget Examiner at the New York State Division of the Budget. His extensive background in Computer Science and Management Information Systems has uniquely positioned him as a leader in digital transformation and IT consolidation initiatives, particularly within the public sector.
During his tenure in government, Mahesh Nattanmai spearheaded numerous innovative projects aimed at driving efficiency and leveraging cutting-edge technologies to enhance public sector operations. His strategic vision and leadership were instrumental in leading successful digital transformations, enabling agencies to deliver services more effectively and improve overall citizen satisfaction.
As Expert in Residence at Civic Hall, Mahesh Nattanmai will bring his invaluable insights and experience to bear on advancing the organization’s mission of fostering innovation and collaboration in the civic technology space.
