Fedcap’s Runway of Dreams Certifies BetterMe’s Adaptive Collection with the GAMUT Seal of Approval™
GAMUT Seal of Approval™ expands to first international adaptive collection, marking global milestone for inclusive design

New York, NY – Runway of Dreams, an organization of Fedcap, today announced that BetterMe's new Adaptive Collection has received the GAMUT Seal of Approval™, certifying excellence in disability representation and inclusive design. The collection – BetterMe's first adaptive performance wear line – was developed in collaboration with GAMUT Management and co-created with people with disabilities to embed accessibility into every element of the design. It is the first international collection to receive the certification.
The five-piece unisex capsule wardrobe supports individuals with limb differences, prosthetic users, people with limited fine motor function or one-handed mobility, those using orthotic supports, and anyone who benefits from simplified dressing. At its core is a magnetic closure system engineered for one-handed dressing – the collection's defining innovation – supported by convertible and modular constructions that expand ease of wear and independence.
Through focus groups, technical design consultation, and wear testing led by GAMUT Management, individuals across a wide range of disabilities contributed directly to the collection’s development. Beyond facilitating community feedback, GAMUT provided experienced adaptive technical designers who worked closely with BetterMe throughout the design process to help ensure accessibility and functionality were embedded into each product from the earliest stages of development. While BetterMe initially engaged participants with limb differences, GAMUT expanded the wear testing process to include individuals with a broader range of disabilities to further strengthen usability, versatility, and real-world functionality across the collection.
The result is a refined, sensory-conscious line rendered in a charcoal palette with select styles in white, maintaining a restrained contemporary aesthetic rooted in performance wear.
"The GAMUT Seal of Approval is rapidly becoming the benchmark for how the industry approaches disability accessibility and adaptive design," said Christine McMahon, President and CEO of Fedcap, parent organization of Runway of Dreams. "BetterMe's Adaptive Collection is a strong example of what those standards produce."
"We didn't want to build a separate line that sits apart from everything else we make,” said Victoria Repa, CEO and Founder of BetterMe. “We wanted to prove that when you design for the full range of human experience, you end up with better products for everyone. Working with GAMUT pushed us to ask harder questions earlier in the process and the collection is stronger for it."
The BetterMe Adaptive Collection is available in inclusive dual sizing (XS/S through XL/XXL) exclusively at store.betterme.world. Proceeds from the collection contribute to prosthetic care.
