Fedcap’s GAMUT Seal of Approval™ Wins Halo Award from Engage for Good for Advancing Disability Participation in the Fashion and Lifestyle Workforce and Marketplace

New York, NY — The GAMUT Seal of Approval™, a certification program developed by Runway of Dreams and GAMUT Management has been named the Best Advocacy or Policy Initiative by Engage for Good, receiving one of the most prestigious honors in the corporate-nonprofit sector.
For more than two decades, the Halo Awards have recognized best-in-class partnerships between corporations and nonprofits. Recognition in the advocacy category signals to the broader sector that the GAMUT Seal is addressing a longstanding need: providing consumers with a credible, expert-backed way to understand whether products are designed with the disability community in mind.
The GAMUT Seal of Approval™ establishes a clear and consistent standard for certification. To earn the Seal, companies must meet a rigorous set of requirements developed by disability experts, informed by lived experience, and evaluated by independent third-party reviewers including occupational and physical therapists, designers, developers, and people with disabilities.
“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition,” said Christine McMahon, President and CEO of Fedcap, parent organization of Runway of Dreams and GAMUT Management. “The GAMUT Seal of Approval™ exists to set a clear, consistent standard for inclusive and adaptive products and services grounded in lived experience. This recognition reinforces the importance of establishing trusted frameworks that help guide both industry and consumer decision-making.”
The Seal has already been awarded to the adidas Supernova Rise 3 Adaptive – the first performance running shoe designed for people with disabilities – and to leading brands such as Victoria’s Secret and G-III Apparel Group, with additional certifications underway.
