Bronx, NY Fedcap and Easterseals New York are proud to announce that a generous $5,000 donation from Hydro-Québec Energy Services and the Champlain Hudson Power Express (CHPE) powered a joyful holiday celebration on December 11, 2025, providing more than 250 toys for young children with disabilities across Easterseals New York pre-school programs. For families facing significant economic hardship, these toys offered not only holiday cheer but a much-needed moment of hope during challenging times.

“Seeing the smiles on children’s faces was a wonderful reminder of what community partnership truly means,” said Christine McMahon, President and CEO of Fedcap. “We are deeply grateful to Hydro-Québec and CHPE for helping us bring a little holiday joy to families who need it most.”

“This celebration was about more than toys—it was about creating moments of connection for families who often face extraordinary challenges,” said Arlene González-Sánchez, Executive Director of Easterseals New York. “We are thankful to Hydro-Québec and CHPE for standing with our children and families this holiday season.”

“We were honored to support this event and to see firsthand the impact it had on the children and families served by Easterseals New York,” said Peter Rose, Senior Director of Hydro-Quebec/CHPE. “Giving back to the communities where we live and work is central to our mission, and we are proud to help bring holiday cheer to so many young people."
