Christine McMahon

President and CEO

Christine McMahon serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of The Fedcap Group. A nationally recognized leader in social innovation and operational excellence, McMahon has dedicated her career to expanding opportunity, strengthening communities, and removing barriers to economic mobility and well-being.

Since joining Fedcap in 2009, McMahon has led the organization through a period of unprecedented growth and transformation. Under her leadership, The Fedcap Group has expanded from a $50 million New York City–based social enterprise to a $400 million multinational organization operating across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada. Today, Fedcap’s integrated platform of education, workforce development, health, and economic development programs serves more than 330,000 people annually.

Before joining Fedcap, McMahon spent several decades in senior leadership roles at Easterseals, one of the nation’s leading nonprofit organizations supporting individuals with disabilities and their families. There, she helped develop and scale programs that expanded access to care, strengthened community supports, and improved outcomes for vulnerable populations.

Her career has consistently focused on designing high-impact, evidence-based interventions that create pathways to independence and long-term economic stability. McMahon has also advised on strategies to expand competitive integrated employment opportunities for individuals with significant disabilities, including serving on the US Secretary of Labor's Advisory Committee on Increasing Competitive Integrated Employment for Individuals with Disabilities.

Throughout her career, McMahon has received numerous awards recognizing her leadership, innovation, and commitment to public service. Her honors include the Whole Health Heroes Award from Empire BlueCross BlueShield and Crain’s New York Business, the New Hampshire Business Review Outstanding Women in Business Award, the National Easterseals Lou Lowenkron Award for Program Innovation, the Division for Children, Youth, and Families Director's Choice Award, and the Riverbend Community Mental Health Rainbow Award.

McMahon holds a Master of Health Administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from New England College.
